Zimmerman guilty--" T.I. Says Not Guilty Verdict Was Bull***T"

From Rollingstone.com

Count T.I. among the outraged about George Zimmerman's not-guilty verdict in the Trayvon Martin case. "Man, it was some bullshit," the rapper said on Power 98's "Morning Madhouse" show in Charlotte, North Carolina. "My hat goes off to the Martin family, because if it was me and my child, there wouldn't have been no trial."

He continued, "I'd have been on trial. It would've been the trial of the father who killed the man who killed [my child]. That would have been my story. My hat goes off because [the Martin family] are much more clear and level-headed thinkers than [myself]."

T.I. reflected spiritually on Zimmerman's acquittal, as well. "It's just another harsh reminder [that] the world that we live in is as imperfect as God promised us it would be," he said.

Many artists have publicly spoken out and taken action in the wake of the Zimmerman trial. Rick Ross condemned the verdict in a new song, and Young Jeezy released a track in tribute to Martin. Bruce Springsteen dedicated a performance of "American Skin (41 Shots)" at an Ireland show to the slain teen. Jay-Z and Beyoncé joined a rally in New York, and Questlove wrote a revealing, earnest Facebook post after the trial.
